Hello my name is Luca today we had a book day assembly and we had to dress up as a book character and I dressed up as Albert Einstein and my favorite book series is Dog Man.

Show don't Tell Sentences.

Hello, my name is Luca and I am in Room 22, and today our teacher gave us some sentences that were telling us exactly what happened and she wanted us to recreate them by showing the sentence
e.g. he was happy.     And the first sentence is "Mason was shocked" this is the showing version.   

Tell: Mason was shocked.

Show: As Mason's face turned pale his heart skipped a beat and his jaw dropped.

Tell: Rakesh was excited to see his Dad.

Show: Rakesh's face turned bright pink and his eyes sparkled with joy as he saw his Dad.

Tell: James felt sad.

Show: James' eyes filled up with tears his heart was beating rapidly he could barely breath tears ran down his face.

Tell: Zac was mad

Show: Zac's face went red in an instant as his fist sped through the wall in front of him and made it crumble.

Sick Sentences

Hello my name is Luca our teacher gave us some sentences and she called the
"Sick Sentences"   these are the sentences... 
The man walked up the slope. He used poles. The sun was bright. The sky was blue. He looked forward to the view from the top.



And we had to make them more enthusiastic and healthy. These are the healthy sentences...

The man dragged his legs as he trudged along the mountain. He stabbed his poles into the ice as he moved inches across the freezing cold blocks of ice. The sun above him
enveloped him as he trudged along the cold ice. The sky above him looked like a baby blue blanket above him. As  he slowly moved his eyes he could see the very tip of the mountain.

Civic Theatre - Auckland City

My favorite short film was the Sloth one because the sloth kept ordering one ice cream but he was too slow and before it got to his mouth it melted and then the chicken gave him two scoops but it melted, the chicken got fed up and gave him three scoops, once it got up to him it dripped on him and he got a sponge to clean himself until then it melted again. The cone fell down and only a bit of the tip broke off and the chicken got a big idea he picked up that cone and put like ten scoops and gave to the sloth and the sloth fell asleep and it dripped into his mouth.   BYE!

hello, this term we got a new choose tuesday activity the one that I got was film making and it was pretty boring because we had to do silent which kinda annoys me, but other than that it was pretty fun!

Sir Edmund Hillary!

Beginning 

Staring upon the humongous mountain called Mount Everest I take notice of the giant ice blocks that my team and I have to climb over. Once I hear is everyone ready I say "2 more minutes please" and wonder is it really worth it? While I'm wondering if it's worth it I get dressed. I put on three thermal long sleeves, two pairs of undies, 2 pairs of wool socks and then I put on my snowsuit get my oxygen tank and go out. As soon as I go out I already feel the breeze but then we get the ropes our bags and start going up. 

Middle

While going up my team and I see a couple of mountain goats that were eating grass and playing around. About halfway to the top we all start getting a bit hungry, so we all unpack our tents and start cooking up canned beans and MRE's which is a meal ready to eat. Now that we finished eating we a start chatting about random stuff until night time, when it's night time we all say goodnight to each other go to bed. In the morning we all pack up and descend to the top.

End

Tenzing Norgay my partner almost slipped and fell but luckily I caught him. We can all see the peek of the mountain but we can't all go up there at the same time because we can't fit. Tenzing and I go to the top first and I pull out my NZ flag and stab it into the top and I scream "FOR NEW ZEALAND!"
